SEARCH OSEA

Under the supervision of the Director of Field Operations, the Department of Field Operations is comprised of 18 professional Field Representatives. This staff provides a myriad of services to OSEA members from contract negotiations to grievance representation. These are essentially the bedrock services OSEA offers to its members.

Field Operations include representational services, legal services, and training. Services include representation for grievances, unfair labor practices, resolution of contract violations, workers’ compensation, unemployment benefits, and arbitration. Field Operations also provides training for building representatives/stewards, negotiation teams, and officers.

To ensure that these services are available to OSEA Chapters at the local level, Field Representatives live and work throughout Oregon. In addition to the OSEA Headquarters in Salem, there are eight field offices located in Central Oregon, Eastern Oregon, Eugene, North Coast, Hermiston, Portland, South Coast, and Southern Oregon.

Every Chapter has a Field Representative from the Chapter's section of the state to assist the Chapter with any number of events and issues.
