The Lou Gerber Scholarship provides additional funding to those members who wish to further their education at an accredited school. OSEA sponsors two $1,000 scholarships for each of the seven zones in Oregon.

OSEA’s Mini-Grant program awards $400 to three OSEA members in each of the seven zones to be used for professional development, such as in-service training, workshops or seminars.

The Guy Davis Scholarship for graduating seniors awards $1,250 to each recipient. To be eligible, applicants must have a relative who is an OSEA member and have a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 3.0.

The Undergraduate Student Scholarship is a scholarship started by OSEA to provide assistance to college juniors and seniors who are related to an OSEA member in good standing.

“I work in the student services department at Sheridan High School, and I have decided I want to be a high school counselor. I love what I do and the kids I help. I am excited to pursue this new path and, thanks to OSEA, I am one step closer.”
