Started in 2004, the professional development program provides OSEA members and school districts with several courses designed to assist employees in developing their skills. Courses include, but are not limited to, first aid, lead person skills, work ethics, communications and more.
Professional development is an investment! It helps inform employees of new legislative requirements, uncovers workplace issues concerning health and safety and allows an opportunity for personal and professional growth. Tight budgets do not mean giving up professional development opportunities, although they do demand some creativity. Let OSEA help!
